Innopreneurs gets 150+ Ideas so far, Last date for registration is 26th Feb

Innopreneurs 2014 – An event for new bright minds trying to do something different than usual. With this competition stage we wish to provide a medium to young talented individuals with great ideas eager become entrepreneurs. Initial fight was to reach as much colleges as possible so as to get quality entries. This impediment could be overcome due to the magic word internet. The social media and online promotion made it possible for us to reach the nook and corners of the country. The contest spans over three main areas; Education, Services, Social Impact.  Apart from these other business plans are also welcome and fall into the category “Others”.

Innopreneurs 2014 is not just a traditional B-Plan contests but a step more where entries are required to be not just on paper. This idea-project is hunting for piloted projects, innovative start-ups or workable ideas. Ideas may be small or big but what is important is the zeal and passion by teams to take more steps than just imagination or planning on paper.

More than 150 entries received are all diverse and spread across all four sectors. Direct reach out to E cell of 100 colleges helped organizers to get relevant entries where many entries are coming premier institutions like IIT’s , NIT’s and IIM’s. It is really astonishing to see so many ideas coming out of students who are just in their 20’s.Quite a significant percentage is taken by the teenagers i.e. people in The young India is certainly going to change the face of this country in coming years. Around 20% entries are at start-up level where the commitment and passion towards their idea is already in action. Also significantly around 40% entries are at prototype level.

The response received for first edition of Innopreneurs-2014 just encouraging that indicates the changing mind-set in Indian Youth. The new youth is ready to take challenges and venture into self- made entrepreneur journey and not just be the followers. Also the ideas or projects received reflect the quality and depth of novelty and impact on the way we would live in future.

Innopreneurs is a term for Innovative Entrepreneurs. The entrepreneurs today have to be very new and unique in terms of their product/service in order to stay in the race. The entries received are a reflection of this very statement. More the entries better will be the competition so, future leaders its time to rush and submit your project-ideas at innopreneurs.in.
