EntertainmentTech: Uttar Pradesh Government Signs MoU with Hinduja Global Solutions’ Broadband Vertical to Skill One Lakh Youth

OneOTT Intertainment Ltd. (OIL), the broadband vertical of Hinduja Global Solutions Ltd. (HGS), part of the Hinduja Group, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Employment Department of the Government of Uttar Pradesh, aimed at strengthening youth employability, aligning skill development with industry requirements, and expanding opportunities in the digital economy, with a target to skill one lakh youth from the state and connect them with employment opportunities.

Dr. M. K. Shanmugha Sundaram, Principal Secretary, Labour and Employment Department, said “This collaboration will play a significant role in aligning skill development programmes with the actual needs of industry. He added that through this partnership, several structured training and capacity-building initiatives will be undertaken to prepare the youth of Uttar Pradesh for emerging opportunities in the rapidly expanding digital services sector.”

Fintech: NAL Academy Collaborates with NTU Singapore to Launch Asia Leadership Series

NAL Academy Limited (formerly known as NSE Academy Limited), a subsidiary of the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd., and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore), a globally top ranked national public research university in Singapore, tied up to launch executive education programs beginning with the Asia Leadership Accelerator—a leadership development program designed for high-potential individuals and forward-looking organizations focused to develop next line of leaders across Asia.

Software Engineering: Anna University & Ramco Systems Sign MOU to Establish an Intelligent ERP Lab for Industrial Engineering Students

Global enterprise software company Ramco Systems announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Anna University, Chennai to establish a dedicated ERP Lab for the University’s Industrial Engineering programme. The MOU outlines a structured framework that includes faculty enablement, industry-oriented training, skill development and provision for research and academic events, giving students practical exposure to the enterprise systems widely used by modern manufacturing organizations.

Kumaresan, Registrar i/c, Anna University, Chennai, said, “Through this MOU, we are strengthening the academic foundations of our Industrial Engineering programme by introducing students to enterprise systems that shape decision?making in modern manufacturing. As an institution, we place strong emphasis on aligning our curriculum with emerging industry expectations and this agreement enables us to enrich our academic design with tools and workflows that students would otherwise encounter only after entering the workforce. The MoU also supports our broader efforts to build a research?driven ecosystem, allowing faculty and students to engage with real?world workflow scenarios in a structured academic setting. Sustainability: Honeywell & IIT Bombay Establish Centre of Excellence to Advance Sustainability Skills & Innovation in India

Honeywell (NASDAQ:HON) announced an agreement with the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) to establish a new Centre of Excellence at the Institute’s Powai campus that will help skill more than 100,000 students by 2030 in sustainability-related fields. The IIT Bombay – Honeywell Centre of Excellence for Future Skills & Innovation (IITB-Honeywell CoE) will be created and fully funded by Honeywell Hometown Solutions India Foundation (HHSIF) – Honeywell’s philanthropic arm in India. The IITB-Honeywell CoE will offer advanced laboratory infrastructure, equipment procurement, curriculum design and research and innovation grants.

CSR: Siemens Energy India Announces First Cohort of Energy4Good Scholars to Strengthen India’s Engineering Talent Pipeline

Siemens Energy India announced the first batch of scholars under its flagship CSR initiative, Energy4Good, marking a significant milestone in its commitment to nurturing India’s next generation of engineering talent. Based on Germany’s Dual Education system, the four-year scholarship program goes beyond financial assistance. It combines academic support with structured industry exposure to help high potential and meritorious engineering students become industry-ready professionals.
