This HR tech startup is helping Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) attract and manage talent by offering employee benefits that even their bigger counterparts cannot offer, such as, payday loans, insurance, and investments.

Zimyo, a cloud-based HR and benefits solution for SMBs, is leveraging the power of AI and machine learning to build efficient products. They are bringing a voice-user interface to the fore-front of employee experience and simplifying complex tasks using speech to enhance user experience. Their systems run on distributed clouds to ensure low latency for every user across the globe.

The Tech Panda spoke to Ajay Kadyan, Co-founder of Zimyo, who says when starting the company, he and his Co-founder Mayank Kumar had just one focus in mind, to enhance employee experience across the globe.

“We wish to empower business leaders with solutions that help bring positive changes in the workplace. Imagine how nice it would be to see your employees actually enjoying coming to the office, feeling inspired, and enthused. This is what we are aiming at,” he says.

“Our intuitive HR solutions help organizations improve employee experience, drive improved data-driven decision-making, and get better business outcomes. We are using smart technology to build smart products. Our philosophy is purely inclined toward a human-centric design,” he adds.

What They Do

From helping manage a disengaged workforce to resolve payroll issues to hiring the right talents and to measuring employee performance, Zimyo acts as a one-stop solution for all HR needs.

“Implementing HRMS in an organization can simplify retention and onboarding tasks. The software gives accurate data and information, so that SMBs employ the right people and ensure that they stay engaged in the workplace,” says Kadyan.

A major challenge that most SMBs face is failure to maintain compliance and accurate payroll processing. For this, Zimyo has automated payroll software that can help run error-free payroll, reduce errors related to compliance issues, and generate automated payslips.

Besides core HR, recruitment and onboarding, and payroll solutions, Zimyo also offers performance management, employee engagement, and timesheet management solutions that help organizations improve their productivity, increase retention rate, and enhance employee engagement.

USP

Kadyan emphasizes that their product is simple, intuitive, and innovative, and you don’t need to be a tech geek to use the product.

“95% of our partners found Zimyo the easiest platform to switch and set-up their complex processes in no time,” he says.

We built Zimyo because we wanted to create an impact on employee experiences all over the world

They are not competing with anybody as they never started Zimyo to just make profits.

“We built Zimyo because we wanted to create an impact on employee experiences all over the world. I believe that there are several organizations in the HR tech space that are delivering great solutions and we just try to learn from everybody,” he says humbly.

Growth Story

Zimyo boasts of users like, Bajaj Capital Limited, Riskcovery, Wizi Credit Cards, Phi Commerce, Vanity  Wagon, I Mocha, Fleetax, and M2P. Their current number of users are serving around 200 users with an employee base of more than 50,000. Their revenue growth month on month is more than 140%.

However, Kadyan says he doesn’t measure success in numbers.

“To me, success is more than just making huge profits. It’s about how many organizations get benefits from our products, how many employees find our product useful, how much value do our products add to an organization’s success, how many customers feel satisfied with the services we deliver, how many partners we have, who are our mentors, who vouch for our services, and what impact we are creating in the HR tech space,” he says.
